We are honored to share that the Millennium Tower foundation upgrade project at 301 Mission Street in San Francisco received the Award of Excellence in the Retrofit/Alteration category at the 2025 SEAONC Structural Engineering Excellence Awards .

This high-profile retrofit addressed severe settlement and tilt—approximately 17 inches—by carefully installing new piles socketed into bedrock, all while the building remained fully occupied. The project was completed in September 2023, and monitoring over the first 18 months has confirmed successful stabilization and gradual tilt recovery .
