| In our ongoing effort to assist Board members during their term of office, Action hosts several Board Leadership Seminars throughout the year. At each seminar, Action's Executive Team provides valuable information to better equip and assist Board members in areas such as Parliamentary Procedure, board responsibility, and financial statements and budgets. Our Board Leadership Seminars are conveniently held in the evening with light dinner and refreshments provided. A question-and-answer session follows, allowing Board members the opportunity to ask specific questions on pertinent issues. This time set aside for Board members is beneficial for all, whether a new Board member or a seasoned veteran.
In addition to providing education to our Board Members, Action is equally committed to ensuring that our community managers uphold the hightest level of industry expertise. This is achieved in the following ways:
- Managers are required to be certified through California Association of Community Managers (CACM).
- Managers are required to attend 2 hours of continuing education each month.
- Managers are encouraged and regularly attend seminars and classes hosted by CACM and the Community Associations Institute (CAI).
- Action’s Manager training combines classroom training with a structured mentoring program to produce highly trained community managers.
