Essential Service – COVID 19

Revised: March 23, 2020

TO: RESIDENTS IN ACTION-MANAGED COMMUNITIES

RE: ESSENTIAL SERVICE DURING COVID-19

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is having a dramatic impact on our lives, businesses and team members. Action Property Management has plans in place to keep our customers and our people safe in accordance with CDC Guidelines, while continuing to provide essential services across the state.

Last week, California Governor Gavin Newsome issued a Stay at Home Order for the entire state., However, this order permits businesses that provide services deemed “essential” to continue to operate. Action Property Management’s services fall into these “essential services”. Therefore, Action remains fully operational and we continue to serve you. We know that you rely on us for many things in your community and, more than ever, we are committed to you.

The recognition of our value is gratifying in that our services are deemed “essential”. This is not something that we take lightly. Our mission is to improve the quality of peoples’ lives. What better time to be able to do that than when the need is the greatest? Many Action Team Members are stepping up to that mission and living it out. We have an opportunity and ability to contribute in significant ways for your community and for the common good.

The needs for managing operations, packages, food delivery, janitorial, maintenance, finances, and more have never been greater. Our team is continually working to perform our duties with creativity and excellence in ways that can contribute to better social distancing in our buildings and communities and improve health dynamics for everyone. We take pride in what we do and we thank you for trusting us during these challenging times.

Sincerely,

Matthew Holbrook

CEO Action Property Management

Much of what we are all facing is serious and challenging.  We want to try to balance that all out a little with some fun and creativity.  With this in mind, we are issuing our first weekly newsletter – specifically geared toward our residents who are spending a whole lot more time at home than usual.  Please see the attachment for the first issue of “Life at Home”.

Dear Residents –

On March 17, 2020, The County of Orange issued a Public Health Order which restricted businesses and gatherings in the County.  Please note that Action Property Management’s services are defined as “essential activities” and are exempted from this Order.  Therefore, our operations continue uninterrupted and we remain committed to serving your community.

Note that Action has long made deep investments in technology and established redundancies and depth in order to effectively navigate situations like the current dynamics with COVID-19.  While these current days are unprecedented and not specifically anticipated, Action has been prepared to adapt as needed to still provide quality service to you.

We know that now, more than ever, it is imperative that your community be managed effectively, with creativity, innovation and excellence.  We are thankful to partner with you and with your Board of Directors toward that end to navigate these challenging dynamics.

We continue to provide information that is helpful to you and to your community.  All of that information is maintained in this website (www.actionlife.com/covid-19-updates) and available for your review at any time.  Note that information and updates will be added on a regular basis.

Keep well.

Matthew Holbrook
